Shiyamjith Nathaniel
Shiyamjith graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Master’s Degree in Theoretical Physics in 2018. His final year project was on the investigation of a theoretical framework for Proton Emission.
From his theoretical physics background, he was involved with effective theory matching calculations, using Taylor expansion, for Higgs decay into two photons.
In October 2018, Shiyamjith started a PhD studentship under LIV.DAT group in the University of Liverpool. His work involves creating a machine learning algorithm for pulse shape analysis for decay spectroscopy of short-lived nuclei. His research also involves the re-evaluation of current proton emission experimental data through modern developments in the field.
