As its population increases towards 1 million inhabitants so does the amount of opportunities and experiences within the Swedish capital. Opportunities to partake in recreational sport, explore its natural beauty or sample Sweden’s contemporary gastronomy. There is something for everyone. Itinerary tips include the world renowned ABBA: The Museum, two historically preserved seventeenth century centrepieces - Drottningholm Palace and The Vasa Museum; as well as Europe’s foremost 20th century art collection at Moderna Museet. The University of Stockholm is an international university that works for “a sustainable and democratic society”. It was founded in 1878 as a radical alternative to traditional educational establishments. It is ranked the 118th best university in the world. The institution has evolved alongside its values to be a positive example of sustainable education. The university has a number of campuses located across the city meaning you will be in the heart of Scandinavia while you study. Outside of academics there are three student unions along a range of faculty clubs and student union associations.

Courses are available in both Swedish and English at an advanced level. You will have to apply for a ‘Residency permit for higher education’. This will cost SEK 1,500.
