University information
The University of Bergen (UiB) is an internationally recognised research institution that was built upon the fundamentals of academic diversity and quality. These core beliefs have made UiB the most cited university in Norway. There are as many as 20,000 students across seven faculties which are supported by 4,200 staff. Alongside its academic pedigree, UiB provides a unique student lifestyle. There are over 100 student organisations and accompanying activities that will help you settle in the city and make the most of your own personal experience.
