Conference venues

The conference will take place across five buildings on the University of Liverpool campus. These include the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre, the Liverpool Guild of Students, the School of Law and Social Justice Building, the 502 Teaching Hub and the Rendall Building. The conference dinner will be held in the city centre at St George’s Hall.

Liverpool Guild of Students

The Liverpool Guild is the main hub for students on campus. This venue will be the central location for all communal activities taking place at the conference, including registration, refreshment and lunch breaks, poster stands and exhibitors’ stands. Activities will be spread across the venue including Mountford Hall, The Courtyard and The Street.

Yoko Ono Lennon Centre

The newest multi-functional space on campus, the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre, named in honour of Yoko Ono Lennon, hosts two large teaching spaces along with the University of Liverpool’s Music Venue the Tung Auditorium. The plenary talks will talk place in the Brett Lecture Theatre, which is the largest teaching space we have on campus.

Rendall Building

The Rendall Building

The Rendall Building, located on south campus, hosts a range of various sized lecture and seminar rooms. This venue will be host to a selection of the panel sessions throughout the conference.

502 Teaching Hub

The 502 Teaching Hub, located on central campus, hosts more lecture and teaching spaces. The venue will be host to other panel sessions taking place throughout the conference.

St George's Hall

St George's Hall. A grand looking Neoclassical building surrounded by trees.

Recognised as one of the finest neoclassical buildings in the world, St George's Hall is a Grade 1 listed building located in the city centre. The Gala Dinner will be held here in the stunning and historic Grand Hall.

The Great Hall, a large room with barrel-vaulted ceiling. The hall is adorned with statues of notable figures and illuminated by pretty chandeliers.
