International Judge in Residence

The International Judge in Residence programme is designed to strengthen the links between international courts and the Unit.

Every year a judge is selected to come to the University of Liverpool to deliver a lecture and support our research activities.

International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea

Judge Ida Caracciolo acts as our Judge in Residence for the academic year (2024 - 2025). 

Judge Ida Caracciolo will deliver a guest lecture on 'Climate change and marine environment: ITLOS advisory opinion n.31'.
