Biography
Francesco graduated from Law at the University of Liverpool with a first class degree. He then worked as a paralegal in catastrophic personal injury at DWF (Liverpool office) from June – November 2021.
Francesco currently teaches Criminal Law and Equity & Trusts Law as part of his Graduate Teaching Fellowship.
Research
Francesco's research interests lie in criminal law, and the focus of my thesis is a law reform exercise of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (SOA). Specifically, his thesis argues that deceptive sexual relations should be criminalised separately from the other sexual relations prohibited under ss.1-4 SOA as they are differently wrongful.
Thesis title
Criminalising Deceptive Sexual Relations in England and Wales: A New Legal Framework.
