Victoria Hawley
LLB (Hons) 2023
"I graduated in July 2023 with an LLB from the Liverpool Law School and I really cannot say enough positive things about my experience. In particular, my studies at Liverpool gave me many opportunities to explore my interest in international law and human rights – including, but not limited to, representing the university twice in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and working as a research assistant on two super interesting projects related to human rights. Most recently, I have taken up a four-month internship at the European Court of Human Rights which was made possible through an internship programme specific to University of Liverpool law students. On top of these excellent opportunities, Liverpool provided a really supportive learning environment that enabled me to meet my potential and build my confidence. I am so glad I chose to study at Liverpool!"

"My experience at the Law School was nothing short of exceptional, and I felt well-supported throughout. Liverpool Law School has equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to contribute meaningfully to my area of law. I would highly recommend the School of Law and Social Justice to anyone aspiring to pursue a PhD in law, as it truly is a place where academic excellence thrives within a supportive and nurturing community."
Sofiia Kuntsevska
Undergraduate Law Student (scholarship programme that hosts displaced Law students from Ukraine)
"Every time I reflect on my journey at the Law School, I can't help but feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this community. Learning from some of the best professors in the field is an amazing experience, giving me a deeper understanding of law. It has helped me to develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and broadened my perspective on the legal world. However, what truly sets the Law School apart is the remarkable support and guidance provided throughout the entire academic journey. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this transformative academic experience at the University of Liverpool Law School."
