The event kicked off with an exhibition showcasing significant milestones and accomplishments from our impressive 130-year history. This included exhibitions on Women and Law at the University of Liverpool, Maitland and the Legal Historians, Law Graduates of Note and Social Justice at Liverpool.
A panel discussion featured insights from a diverse group of past and current students, staff and partners. Panelists included:
- Professor Anu Arora - Professor in the Liverpool Law School.
- Sofiia Kuntsevska - Undergraduate Law student from Kyiv who arrived at the University of Liverpool under a scholarship programme to host displaced Law students from Ukraine.
- Heather Jessop - Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Liverpool.
- David Meredith-Jones - Liverpool Law School alumnus with a long and distinguished career legal practise career.
- Darryn Nyatanga - Liverpool Law School PhD student involved in various widening and participation initiatives at the University.
- Steve Peacock - Liverpool Law School alumnus and Partner at Weightmans LLP.

The evening was further enriched by a keynote lecture titled 'Deprivation of Liberty orders for young, vulnerable people: are these a measure of our civilised society?', delivered by Sir Stephen Cobb, Liverpool Law School alumnus who is currently serving in the High Court Family Division.
