The School of Law and Social Justice has been accepted as an Institutional Member of the European Law Institute (ELI).
The European Law Institute (ELI) aims to improve the quality of European law, understood in the broadest sense.
It seeks to initiate, conduct and facilitate research, to make recommendations, and to provide practical guidance in the field of European legal development.
Its membership consists of institutions and individuals from the judiciary, from legal practice and from academia.
Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas, Dean of the SLSJ, stated:
“Our institutional membership of ELI is a testament to the School’s outstanding reputation in the field of European law and reflects the School’s ongoing commitment towards shaping European law and policy in the post-Brexit era.”
