SLSJ Adopts Co-ordination of the European Criminal Law Academic Network (ECLAN)
Liverpool Law School has taken over the Co-ordination of the European Criminal Law Academic Network (ECLAN), which it co-ordinates together with the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the University of Luxembourg.
The ECLAN Network brings together academics from 32 countries from Europe and beyond. It organises annual academic and graduate conferences and summer schools and co-ordinates the publication of the New Journal of European Criminal Law and of the Hart Studies in European Criminal Law.
Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas, Dean of the School of Law and Social Justice, and ECLAN’s co-coordinator, stated:
"Assuming the co-ordination of one of the most extensive and dynamics transnational research networks in European and criminal law is a testament of the outstanding research strength of Liverpool Law School in these fields and reflects the commitment of the School to pursue impactful and socially engaged research."
