Overview
This language module is designed for students who have completed SPAN905/005 Intermediate Spanish 5 or have a B1 standard of the language in the Common European Framework of Reference, for example a good AS level. Previous knowledge of the language is required. They will also be able to enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life, e. g., family, hobbies, work, travel and current events and to understand the main point of many radio or TV programmes on current affairs or topics of personal or professional interest when the delivery is relatively slow and clear.

I graduated in English Language and Literature from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2020, and then went on to study a master’s degree in teaching, specializing in Foreign Language Teaching. I wrote my master’s thesis on the use of theatre in the foreign language classroom, and my interests include the integration of literature in language teaching. I joined the University of Liverpool in 2021, teaching undergraduate courses as a Spanish language assistant.
