Media Histories
Investigating a range of issues including textual practices, visual aspects of texts, circulation of knowledge, and transformations across media, this cluster has been instrumental in developing initiatives at the interface between disciplines, with particular strength in the intersection between Modern Languages and Digital Humanities.
Members of the group are involved in significant collaboration across the Faculty, including work on Digital Humanities and Social Sciences, and nationally, including the AHRC’s Digital Transformations theme, as well as Liverpool University Press’s ground-breaking Modern Languages Open initiative.
