Week of the Italian Language in the World

Week of the Italian Language in the World in Liverpool, 11-18 October 2024

The Week of Italian Language in the World is an annual event (this year at the 24th edition) under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs involving a global network of Italian Cultural Institutions, languages departments, schools, and associations. The Department of Languages, Cultures and Film (LCF) at the University of Liverpool traditionally hosts the Italian Week with a series of cultural events, performances, concerts, and screenings.

The theme of this edition is ‘Italian and the Book’. The 2024 programme is a collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Society of Liverpool, the supplementary school MammaMia, and a series of international artists and scholars.
