LA³NET Kickoff Meeting

The LA³NET Kickoff Meeting was held in Liverpool, UK, on November 23^rd-25th 2011. The event was organised by the University of Liverpool.
Around 25 participants attended the 3 day meeting which opened in the evening of November 23^rd with a Welcome Reception at the Liverpool Hilton Hotel.

Professor Carsten Welsch, the project coordinator, started the meeting in the morning of November 24^th with a short welcome and introduction and lead through the following days. During the next two days, an introduction to the Marie Curie Actions rules and regulations, project finances and reporting, recruitment strategy, election of the Steering Committee, discussion of all projects, including the definition of individual career development plans and future training events were all on the busy agenda.

The main objectives of the Kickoff Meeting were to officially launch the LA³NET project, bring together all partners and discuss the first steps of the project.
