Launching Stream Capture
To launch Stream Capture, you will need to be in a teaching room which is Stream Capture enabled or using a staff PC or laptop on the Managed Windows Service (MWS) with Stream Capture installed.
- Launch Stream Capture by double clicking on the desktop icon.
Alternatively, run Stream Capture via: Start > All Programs > The University of Liverpool > Stream Capture > Stream Capture - You will be asked if you are capturing a lecture:
If you click yes then you will be asked to select the associated activity from a dropdown menu (with date and time). Your video will then be tagged with this information, and will be automatically uploaded to VITAL to the Stream Lectures area.
- Stream Capture will determine which devices are connected to your PC and therefore which settings are required.
- The main menu will then appear along with details of the settings which are in place, including:
- The type of capture
- Mouse capture settings
- Webcam settings
- Audio recording settings
- Save option
- Send to stream.liv.ac.uk option
