Getting started

Files, including documents and emails, can be uploaded directly into Serengeti from within a Microsoft Office application, such as Word or Outlook, using a plugin which must be installed before you get started.

Installing the plugin

To install the latest version of the plugin, which will also remove any existing/older version, ensure that you have closed all Microsoft Office applications and then follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to Install University Applications from the start menu or your desktop
  2. Select the Office category and then Serengeti Office Plugin
  3. Click Run to continue

Accessing Serengeti files from SPIDER & CORE HR

If you access Serengeti files from any of the linked business systems (SPIDER or CORE HR) the method for doing so remains unchanged.
