2. Set up Duo (2FA)

Duo two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security process which requires you to verify your identity using two different methods when logging in.

3. Complete academic registration

Academic registration is when you confirm your place on your degree course. You can do this by logging into Liverpool Life, instructions for this will be sent to you in an email entitled ‘Your Academic Registration 202425’.

4. Upload your ID card photo

The photo for your student ID card can be uploaded to Liverpool Life.

5. Access your University email account

You can use your University email account after you have activated your IT account. Please allow 24 hours for your email account to be ready for use.

6. Download the My Liverpool app

The University of Liverpool companion app will give you access to our libraries, campus events and a wealth of useful information so you can make the most of your studies.

7. Confirm your attendance

This step can only be completed once you are on campus. You'll receive an email shortly before your start guide with the details on how to do this.
