My Liverpool: the new student portal from IT Services

IT Services is launching a new student portal, My Liverpool on 22 October 2024 which brings together all content that was formerly held in Liverpool Life and the student intranet in one easy to access system.

What impact will I see?

My Liverpool has an improved look and feel with better navigation and accessibility, making it easier for you to access everything you need and improve students’ experience of managing their personal details and academic programme. My Liverpool significantly improves the experience of everyone at the University, while retaining all the key aspects from Liverpool Life and the student intranet.

IT Services will be working with our staff and students to establish everything My Liverpool needs to do to make academic journeys the best that they can be for everyone in our University community. We will use your feedback to introduce even more new functionality from early 2025.

My Liverpool will be accessible at: https://my.liverpool.ac.uk/.

If you try to access the old Liverpool Life or the current student intranet, you will be redirected to My Liverpool.

Next steps

IT Services will be working with you via the Customer Experience team to establish what you need My Liverpool to do to make your academic journey the best that it can be. They will use your feedback to introduce even more new functionality from early 2025.

You can also join our Student Digital Engagement Group (StuDEG), a community of students the University calls upon to help us research and test our digital products. This will involve helping IT Services figure out what needs to go on My Liverpool and gives you the opportunity to earn rewards in return.
