IT Services cyber security training is available to all staff and students. Our team is committed to your safety and teaching you how to protect yourself and your data is an essential part of our strategy.

Cyber security threats are not just found on your computer. Did you know that some cyber criminals may contact you by phone claiming to be from the University's IT security team or a member of a software company? These phone calls are aimed at retrieving your account and personal information, which could put both your data and that of the University at serious risk. Think about how easy it is to order something online. If a cyber criminal had your credit card information, how much money could they spend without you noticing and reporting it to your bank?

This essential training will help you stay safe and vigilant both when using the internet and in everyday interactions, reducing the risk that you will be subjected to a malicious scam. We’ll also teach you how to report potential security threats to us so that we can monitor risks and continue working hard to keep you safe.

The training materials are available as follows:

Staff: Microsoft Teams > MyCompliance
