Important information about printing this summer

Published on

It may not be often that you print something, but when you do, the University has many Ricoh Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) which are able to print on A3 and A4, black and white, and colour.

These printers have previously been managed by Equitrac software; however, IT Services is currently moving over to new software, Papercut. This move will take place over the summer and be completed by close of business on 13 September 2024. IT Services is committed to completing this work in a way which reduces the impact on staff and students and there will always be a printer in your area which is available to use. There may be periods where single printers are unavailable, so you will need to use the nearest alternative in your building as appropriate.

Once the work is completed, the printer panel will have a new look and feel, and you will need to select the new appropriate print queue.

If you have any issues with printing during or following completion of this work, please contact the IT Service Desk.
