Print Anywhere service launched
Published on
The Computing Services Department has launched a new service which enables staff and students to send files to print from any laptop, tablet or mobile.
The aim of the new service is to provide more flexible access to printing, and help reduce demand on campus computers which might otherwise have been tied up to complete simple printing jobs.
To print via email, an A4 document can be attached to an email and sent to either printbw@liv.ac.uk (for black and white printing) or printcolour@liv.ac.uk (for colour printing).
Using the web browser is just as simple. Staff and students can navigate to printweb.liv.ac.uk and login using their University username and password. There are some simple steps to follow to upload the document to be printed.
Printouts can then be collected in the usual way by logging into a Ricoh printer with a staff or student card. The document will be in the print queue ready to be released.

The Computing Services Department is constantly seeking feedback to improve the service offered across campus. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact the Helpdesk or follow on Twitter @liverpoolcsd.
