ClaroRead

ClaroRead is a text to speech application. Listening to written documents makes it easier to pick up on any spelling or grammar errors and helps you to focus on the content. For example, by listening you’ll hear the whole text and not inadvertently skip lines. The software is also beneficial for people who suffer from eye strain as you don’t have to look at the screen for long periods of time.

It also comes with a selection of other tools such as:

  • Screen ruler allowing you to focus on specific areas of text
  • ClaroPDF which enables PDF documents to be read aloud

There are a number of useful guides and resources available on this text academy page dedicated to help you learn what ClaroRead can do.
