How do reconciliation funded arts projects transform conflict?

Dr Alex Coupe, University of Liverpool, considers the limitations of processes for evaluating reconciliation funded arts projects, which fail to fully capture the complex dynamics of artist knowledge, participant experience and historal context.

So much of our understanding of art for reconciliation practices comes through evaluation processes that fail to capture the historical context and experience of the people making the work.
