Still Life (Prime Cut)

Performance in 2011 which looked at Belfast over a period of 100 years told from the perspectives of women.

It was developed with the help of Louise Lowe (Anu Productions - Dublin) over the course of a year-long project with 65-70 community participants, artists, facilitators and community leaders from all around Belfast. The production was set in a building on Waring Street where audience members would walk through different rooms designed to represent a day in the life of women over the century (i.e. working on the Titanic, steam-rooms, home during the Blitz), ending with a tea party hosted by the community actors in character.
