Santander Travel Awards

Published on

The travel grants, made possible by Santander Universities, are to enable staff at the University of Liverpool to travel to countries within the Santander Universities Network to develop collaborative partnerships (including teaching and research). Ideally, applicants will have some initial links which have the potential to develop further (e.g. to undertake collaborative research; apply for a grant together etc).

These grants can also be used  to bring collaborative partners to the University to work on a project. The grants cannot be used for the sole purpose of attendance at an academic conference.

Santander Bank has allocated more than Euro 900 million to support higher education projects through its Santander Universities programme, which includes over 1,000 higher education institutions located in 20 different countries.
