Based in Hamilton on Lake Ontario, McMaster University is one of only 4 Canadian Universities ranked in the top 85 in the world. It is one of Canada’s top three research intense universities and the home of problem-based learning. It has a strong focus on human and societal health and well-being and is one of the world’s top universities for the study of clinical health (THE 2023). It also leads on nuclear research and in its application to medical technologies.
The University of Liverpool and McMaster University have established a joint fund to deepen and extend collaborative research links between the universities.
The fund covers travel and subsistence costs for staff to undertake short-term visits in both directions with the objective enabling collaborators to develop outputs and outcomes that leverage external funding.
