Biosecurity Alliance Workshop
Emerging Technologies in the Life and Computational Sciences:
Opportunities, Challenges, and Threats for Transatlantic Cooperation
As part our strategic partnership with the University of Georgia we are looking for interested academics to submit expressions of interest to participate in a workshop to be held at the University of Georgia exploring the above topics and commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Liverpool- Georgia Partnership. These fields form a key part of the Atlantic Declaration signed in June 2023 between the US and UK and provide a strong basis for collaboration in science, technology and security, between the two countries. The workshop will take place in May at the campus in Athens, Georgia over a 3-day period. We encourage applications from colleagues who work in a broad range of areas and can contribute to discussions and debates about the application of new technologies with researchers at the University of Georgia.
