- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been in place since 2018 focussed on Chemistry and Materials Science
- Researcher and PhD mobility supported through the CSC Innovative Talent International Collaboration Scheme (2019, 2022)
Xi'an Jiaotong University-(XJTU)
- Close partner of the University of Liverpool for more than 20 years
- UoL and XJTU were founding partners in the development of Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University , a Sino-foreign co-operative university
- Research collaborations in Chemistry, Electronics, Health, Law and Heritage
