University partners

If you work at a university in an advisory role and are interested in introducing the University of Liverpool's International Summer School programme to your students, we’d love to help make that happen.

The International Summer School (ISS) is a short, credit-bearing academic programme, which offers an authentic taste of UK higher education and campus life. We provide collaborative, challenging teaching from an exceptional team, as well as a social programme that brings the city of Liverpool to life. Every year, students from all over the world join us to learn and live together, and gain a valuable international experience.

After three or six weeks of study and socialising, students leave us with a transcript with their record of credits earned (ECTS), as well as a new network of international friends. Ongoing benefits include membership of the University of Liverpool's alumni network, and discounts on future study at Liverpool.

We work with several institutions who send groups of their students to us as an organised experience, and we are able to offer tuition fee discounts to our partners. The ISS is a very simple internationalisation project, and our team are available to guide you through the process if you are unfamiliar with this type of programme.

We're keen to speak with universities who might wish to incorporate the ISS into their internationalisation strategy, and can offer support such as online sessions, brochures and visits to help this to happen. Whether you have an existing relationship with the University of Liverpool or wish to become a partner, we would be happy to hear from you.

You can download the ISS Flyer and ISS 2024 presentation here, or if you would like to get in touch we can send a full partner pack over.
