Module choices

The International Summer School offers a diverse range of credit-bearing modules, reflecting the best of the University of Liverpool's teaching and research areas.

All modules are five credits each (15 University of Liverpool credits is equal to 7.5 ECTS), with assessment.

Choosing modules

Students can study with the International Summer School for a period of either three or six weeks. You will choose three modules to study during each three-week period.

Modules are grouped by session – weeks 1-3 or 4-6 – and split into four categories: A, B, C and D. Students will choose three modules for each session they will be attending, selecting only one from each category. (For example, you will not be able to take two modules from category A.)

When indicating module choices upon application, you will be asked to rank your preferred modules in order (first, second, and third choice).

If you are looking to join us for three weeks, you can choose whether to attend the programme for weeks 1-3 or 4-6.
