Accommodation

International Summer School students are guaranteed a place in our city centre campus accommodation. Residences are situated within walking distance of classes and are the perfect base for studying and enjoying everything the University and city have to offer.

International Summer School students are housed in Melville Grove, one of our fantastic University halls of residence that offers students a comfortable and safe setting during their time with us, as well as providing an extra opportunity for meeting new people and making lifelong friendships. 

University accommodation is guaranteed, meaning you do not need to apply separately for accommodation and you will automatically be allocated a room on acceptance of your unconditional offer letter.

International Summer School students are able to opt-out of University accommodation - whether they prefer to make alternative arrangements, or stay with family or friends - but we strongly recommend staying with us on campus and immersing yourself in the community atmosphere.

We try to ensure that students are allocated into diverse halls, to ensure that you get the true International Summer School experience by sharing it with students from all over the world. You may find that you are sharing spaces with undergraduate students finishing up their first year at Liverpool - a valuable source of knowledge, as one of our students Jasmine found out! Our accommodation is close to the International Summer School Central Office, as well as campus facilities such as the sports centre and libraries. Most are only a 15 minute walk from the city centre, making it easy to access everything you need and experience all that Liverpool has to offer. One of the additional benefits to being an International Summer School student is free access to the sports centre facilities during your time with us at the University.
