The first event funded by the Postgraduate Research Development Fund is a premiere screening by Chen-Yu Lin, postgraduate researcher in the Department of Music, of her short documentary ‘Chasing the China Wind: A Musical Journey’; exploring recent Chinese popular music from the perspectives of post-1990’s generations across Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and Liverpool. This exciting event is now taking place at on 9 June, 20.00 in Frederiks. Entry is free and there is no need to book, just come along!
