Chile in/en Liverpool - Music & Memories
Three IPM researchers, Lisa Shaw, Sara Cohen and Jacky Waldock, have been awarded a seed fund grant by the Northern Network for Medical Humanities Research (NNMHR) for the project “Co-curation and reminiscence as pathways to wellbeing: a pilot research project involving the University of Liverpool’s Popular Music Archive and Chilean exiles who moved to Liverpool during the Pinochet dictatorship”.

Department of Music Filmmaker Shortlisted for Prestigious National Award
A film made by Dr. Chen-Yu Lin from the Department of Music and Charlotte Sawyer has made the shortlist for the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s prestigious 2018 Research in Film Award. Their film,‘George Harrison, The Story of the Beatles and Indian Music Performance Teaser', will, therefore, be a contender for the Social Media Short Award.
