I am currently a third-year Ph.D. student at the Institute for Financial and Actuarial Mathematics (IFAM), University of Liverpool, under the supervision of Professor Olivier Menoukeu Pamen and Professor Corina Constantinescu. My current research focuses on addressing issues of financial inclusion in Microfinance, specifically by constructing credit risk models to comprehend loan delinquency behaviors within such institutions. Prior to joining the University of Liverpool, I worked as a data scientist at one of the major banks in Ghana. This experience has equipped me with valuable skills and insights that enable me to approach my research more effectively.

I am a PhD student at the Institute for Financial and Actuarial Mathematics (IFAM) of the University of Liverpool (started in October 2023). My primary thesis supervisor is Dr. Ronnie Loeffen. My research interests include Lévy processes and stochastic control. Before coming to UoL, I completed my master’s degree at Higher School of Economics in 2021, with the graduation thesis on dividends control.

I am presently studying a PhD in mathematics under the supervision of Dr Apostolos Papaioannou and Ehsan Azmoodeh. I began studying at UoL during October 2021. My interest in research began during my MSc in South Africa at the University of Cape Town. My MSc was in financial mathematics which included courses in stochastic calculus applications in finance, numerical methods in financial asset pricing as well as financial engineering. This inspired me to subsequently study a PhD in mathematics. My current research is in Levy fluctuation theory with applications to insurance risk theory. The main areas of research for this PhD involves understanding implementational delays in dividend, capital or tax strategies in insurance risk models.

In January 2023, I commenced my PhD study at the University of Liverpool's Institute for Financial and Actuarial Mathematics. I am conducting research under the supervision of Dr. Bujar Gashi. My current research interests lie in the study of stochastic optimal control, with a specific focus on its application to optimal investment. Additionally, I graduated with a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from Sussex University in October 2022.
