    About

    Personal Statement

I investigate the response of plant and soil diversity to environmental changes and the consequence for ecosystem functioning in forests and grasslands. My research links plant rapid adaptation, functional traits, species interactions and community dynamics, and multi-trophic interactions (e.g., plant-microbe interactions, plant-herbivore interactions) to ecosystem-level patterns. I combine various experimental approaches (e.g., field observations and experiments, common garden experiments, glasshouse experiments) and big data analysis.
