About

Dr. Allison is a Professor of Molecular Microbiology in the Department of Clinical Infection, Microbiology and Immunology which sits inside the Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Prof. Allison received her Ph.D. from the College of Medicine at the University of Florida in 1997. She held a NIH-funded Postdoctoral Cariology Fellowship at the University of Rochester before moving to the University of Liverpool. Dr. Allison has been a member of academic staff at Liverpool since 2001.
