Dr Samantha Caslin
Dr Samantha Caslin specialises in Modern British History, with particular interests in gender history, prostitution and policy, and local feminist activism. She has published articles in Women's History Review, Social History of Medicine and History and Policy. Her book, Save the Womanhood! Vice, urban immorality and social control in Liverpool, c.1900-1976, was published in hardback by Liverpool University Press in April 2018.
Dr Chris Williams
Dr Chris Williams is the Research Impact Officer for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has a particular interest in local history and has published on links between the University's Abercromby Square and the American Civil War.
