Zero Carbon Research Initiative
The University of Liverpool Zero Carbon Research Initiative (ZCRI) is a research and consultancy group led by our founder and director Dr Stephen Finnegan and supported by industry sponsored PhD researchers. Its goal is to assist in deciphering the complex carbon landscape and designing strategies to help business achieve the UK Governments plan to become Net Zero Carbon (NZC) by 2050.
Did you know that in addition to NZC, there is GHG reporting, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS), Taskforce on Climate Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD 2025), the new UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UKETS) plus much more.
