ENVS 453 Spatial Modelling for Data Scientists

An introduction to a range of statistical techniques specifically designed to handle spatial data, building upon the more generic social survey analysis skills and R programming skills covered and developed in ENVS450. Assessment, via two computational notebooks, will evaluate the understanding and application of spatial statistical modelling according to the geographical process and data at hand; the ability to write and implement computational code; and demonstrate an understanding on how to interpret model results and how they can be used to inform decision making.
