On this page you will find important information to help support you to get ready for the Go Higher programme.
To help you settle into your studies as smoothly as possible, please complete your top three tasks before your induction and welcome:
- Make sure that you have set up your computing account (your MWS account) and registered for Duo two-factor authentication, giving you access to your student email account and all our IT systems.
- Confirm that you are joining us by completing your academic registration.
- Upload your photo for your student ID.
We’re running an optional drop-in to provide support for these top three tasks, should you need it. This will be on Tuesday 3rd September between 2pm and 4pm in the IT Suite, 128 Mount Pleasant. Please do come along if you need any support as staff will be available to help.
After completing those top three tasks there is other information and support you can start to familiarise yourself with:
Get to know our IT Services by looking at the Quickstart guide which gives you info on all the apps to have, how to store your stuff, using Office 365 and how to Enrol for Duo two-factor authentication.
Take a look at The Liverpool Welcome module. Aimed to incoming undergraduate students, there will be some sections which may be of interest to you as a Go Higher student (and will help you get familiar with Canvas).
We know that there is a lot to take in – here’s some information about:
