The Faculty consists of four Schools, which provide world-renowned undergraduate and postgraduate taught teaching programmes that are fuelled by our research. Together we represent one of the UK’s largest concentrations of research expertise, pursuing innovative interdisciplinary collaborations with colleagues across the University, the City and world.
The Faculty Management Team provides direction and leadership across all departments, and the Faculty Office supports the outstanding learning and teaching through its Student Experience, Research & Impact and Corporate Services teams.
As well as our Schools, there are a number of departments that draw upon expertise across all disciplines within the Faculty:
- Go Higher is a part-time one-year Access Diploma course providing a foundation to various degree programmes
- Continuing Education offers a diverse range of short courses, lectures and events based on a wide range of subjects, drawing upon expertise within the Faculty and also the wider University.
- The Heseltine Institute for Public Policy, Practice and Place connects our research with policymakers and practitioners to support the development of successful, sustainable cities and city regions.
