Postgraduate

Postgraduate education within HARC brings together expert anatomists, researchers, clinicians, and students to provide cutting edge exploration of modern anatomical sciences and professional skill development.

HARC provides a unique and innovative contribution to postgraduate education in a range of programmes across the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

This includes facilities, specialist teaching and supervisory support for programmes in the Schools of Medicine, Health Sciences and Life Sciences. For example, HARC has created bespoke teaching material for the newly established PGDip and MSc qualifications to reflect the latest pedagogical advances in Health Sciences.

There are also several part-time and full-time postgraduate research students working or supervised within HARC, across a number of different research themes.

PGCert Clinical Anatomy with Education

This 8-month part-time qualification is ideally suited to working professionals looking to elevate and apply their anatomical knowledge, whilst developing an educational skillset. It is delivered primarily through online distance learning, with 1 week of practical activity in Liverpool, each semester (10 days total). Expert anatomists and clinicians guide learners through independent acquisition of knowledge and skills in a mix of asynchronous online modules, live seminars and labs. Learners develop confidence, digital fluency and a range of professional skills through a variety of assessment types.
