Can I opt in to ULPF?
Yes. Eligible employees can opt in to ULPF by completing the Notice to Opt In to the CARE Section and associated forms, which can be found on the ULPF Documents page. These forms should be returned to the Pensions Team.
I have been automatically enrolled into ULPF. Can I opt out?
If you have been automatically enrolled, you will need to have received your auto-enrolment letter before you are able to return a valid opt out form. This letter will be sent to your home address during May, once you have been assessed by the auto-enrolment payroll process.

As a new employee I have been contractually enrolled into ULPF. Can I opt out?
Yes, you can opt out. However, you must have been enrolled into ULPF first. You will be enrolled into ULPF on the first day of your appointment with the University. Therefore you must have started your appointment before you can opt out.
