Dr Sheila Blackburn BA, PhD

Sheila Blackburn teaches level two units on Work, Industry and Society in the 19th and 20th centuries, and level 3 units on Poverty, Welfare and the State in the 19th and 20th centuries. These courses, although primarily set within a British context, also make some comparisons with the United States of America, Sweden and Japan. Dr Blackburn also contributes to the MA in Twentieth Century History option: Work, Class and Politics.
