Historians at Liverpool play an active role in a variety of interdisciplinary research centres within the Faculty of the Humanities and Social Sciences and beyond. Historians contribute to the University Heritage research theme.

A hub for interdisciplinary study and research of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance in Europe and beyond from c.300 to c.1700.
