Mark Towsey has been awarded the Bibliographical Society of America's prestigious Katharine Pantzer Senior Research Fellowship in Bibliography and the British Book Trade, to support archival work in the United States on reading habits in colonial America and the early Republic.
He has also been awarded a Major Grant by the Bibliographical Society for a two-week research residency at the National Library of Wales to research reading habits in Georgian Wales. Mark is currently on research leave funded by a British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship for 2014-15.
