Professor Elaine Chalus from the Department of History has written a blog post for Tortoise Media as part of their ‘The Future of History’ series which considers what history should look like in the 21st Century. Professor Chalus discusses her first encounter with gendered roles within society which in turn sparked her interest in gender studies.
