Personal Statement

Amy is currently an Anatomy Demonstrator in HARC. She joined the team in 2016 from the University of Glasgow, where she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, after gaining a BSc in Anatomy (Hons) and MSc in Medical Visualisation & Human Anatomy.

Amy is involved in teaching a variety of anatomy practical classes including dentistry, health sciences and a range of anatomy modules, and is currently lead anatomy demonstrator for second year medicine (MBChB). Amy also delivers lectures and has been involved in the production of some of HARC's prosections used in teaching.

Amy completed a PhD in Musculoskeletal Biology under the supervision of Prof Nathan Jeffery and Prof Graham Kemp, graduating July 2024. This research involved investigating the potential interactions between neuronal wiring, brain size, and cranial base and face shape from birth to adolescence in primates.
