The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences joined students in celebration as they received their degrees this month.
This year’s graduates included the first cohort from three new Masters programmes, MSc in Cancer Biology and Therapy, MSc in Infection and Immunity and MSc in Health Data Science.
Dr Mal Horsburgh, Programme Lead for the MSc in Infection and Immunity said: "We are delighted to see our first cohort graduate in-person this year. We are sure they will use their new skills to good effect to set them on the path to success in their chosen careers."
Aine Philippou (second from left below) graduated with an MSc in Cancer Biology & Therapy and commented: "I loved this course. There was a range of lecturers with different expertise including academic researchers, clinical oncologists and surgeons that shared recent progress they had made in cancer research. My favourite part of the course was the research project. You get to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course and become part of an established cancer research team."
