Training and internal events
There are a variety of internal events open to staff and students at the University.
The faculty wants to support staff and students at every level to take part in public engagement. The PE team offer regular introductory sessions and can also come out to your group or department to provide training that is more tailored to your needs.
We are looking into providing more advanced and specific training for those who have already done some public engagement work but want to develop their skills further.
If you have any suggestions or enquiries about any of the training that the faculty offers, please email the PE team at HLSEngagement@liverpool.ac.uk.

Faculty public engagement showcase
We run an annual showcase for the whole faculty in order to recognise and reward the hard work taking place in the University.
Please contact us on HLSEngagement@liverpool.ac.uk if you would like to organise an event within your institute about public engagement.
Numerous external training oppportunities are also available, some of which are detailed on our external training page.
The showcase event brings together staff and students from across the University to celebrate some of the excellent public engagement work that has taken place within the faculty and to share best practice happening both here at the university and across the sector. It is also an opportunity to network with other colleagues interested in public engagement and to discover ways to get involved as well as any support available.
